Kara Durrett grew up in Texas.   She earned her BFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and is now working on both coasts in theater and film.  ​

Her recent television work includes The Good Wife, Pan Am, and the original HBO series Bored to Death.

Kara currently lives in Brooklyn, NY.
